Chris attended the University of Kansas from 1975 through 1980 in the BSBA program. He began his electrical career as an electrical apprentice while at the University of Kansas in 1977. He received his Kansas Journeyman electrician license in 1981 and moved to Denver in 1982 where he worked as a Colorado licensed journeyman until 1983 when he tested and received his Colorado Master’s license. In 1985 he started his own electrical contracting business doing commercial and residential service and construction. He sold that business to his partner in 1991 when he became the Division Manager for a mid-sized commercial electrical contractor in Denver. In 1995 he resigned his position to start his own business again which he operated until 2001. In 2001 he became the Service Department Manager for a large electrical contractor which he grew into a very successful operation. In 2008 he came to McBride as the Operations Manager and subsequently General Manager until its closure in 2010 when he purchased the Denver operation along with Mark Heikkila and reopened as Integrity Electrical Solutions, LLC. He subsequently obtained full ownership in the company in 2011.
Chris’ career includes experience in restaurant, office, data center, fire alarm, health care, airport, street lighting, municipal, education, solar, mining, federal, and retail electrical work. Though his experience has primarily been in Service, he also has significant experience in design/build and competitive bid construction project work.
